A limited archaeological field reconnaissance of Parrish House was conducted on July 25, 1994 as part of the preparation of a historic preservation plan for the structure.

An attempt was made to survey the proposed fill area of King's Creek at Sea Island Golf Course at St. Simons Island. Large machinery operating in the affected area, but neither the fill nor the footbridges will disturb any archaeological sites.
