From April 11-25, 2011, EPEI conducted a Phase I archaeological survey for the proposed improvements at the Interstate (I) 285 at Bouldercrest Road interchange. The proposed project would reconstruct and rehabilitate the existing interchange at I-285 and Bouldercrest Road.

The proposed project would replace the existing 170 ft. x 26 ft. (l x w), five-span bridge over Big Slough along SR 97, approximately 3.2 miles northeast of Bainbridge, in Decatur County, Georgia.

This project would widen SR 96 and improve the 1-16 interchange from just south of the 1-16 interchange to just north. The proposed project includes replacing the bridge carrying SR 96 over 1-16 and widening the bridge from two to six lanes to accommodate the widening of SR 96.

On 14 and 16 September 2011 and 11 February 2012, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive Phase I cultural resources survey of the proposed Truman Linear Park Trail in Chatham County, Georgia (GDOT Project CSHPP-007-00 [631] Chatham County; P.I. 0007631; HP 110912-001).

GT Hill Planners Corp. conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey for the proposed bridge replacement on SR 184 at Toccoa Creek, 3.5 miles northeast of Toccoa, Stephens County, Georgia.

Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) wishes to develop much of the southern two-thirds of Colonels Island, the portion south of U.S. Highway 17 that has not already been developed. Because of wetlands issues, the project is likely to be subject to review by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey of nine intersections surrounding the City of Gainesville in Hall County in response to a request by HNTB Corporation under project number CSSTP-0007-00(353), P.I. No. 0007353, HP #110819-001.
