Report Abstracts

This overview is a statement of known and expected cultural resources on land in the Chattahoochee and Oconee National Forests in Georgia (Figure 1). It also provides Forest Service personnel a management statement and guide to cultural resources appearing on National Forest land.

This volume serves two functions. First, it is a status report to show the cultural heritage activities the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests have conducted over the past 16 years.

This project consists of the replacement of the bridge on SR 118 at Muckaloochee

This report presents the results of a Phase I archaeological survey conducted for Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) project PI No. 0009938, in Dawson County, Georgia. The proposed project would reconstruct the existing at-grade intersection of SR 53 and SR 183

The proposed project would consist of the installation of sidewalks and bike lanes on Delesseps and La Roche Avenues from Waters Avenue to Skidaway Road in the City of Savannah, a distance of approximately 1.3 miles.

The proposed project would improve the intersection of SR 520/US 82, South County Line Road, and North County Line Road within the unincorporated Acree community in Dougherty County, Georgia.

The proposed project would consist of Glenwood Avenue being realigned to the south in order to eliminate the approximately seventy~foot offset that currently exists as it crosses Moreland Avenue and would accommodate a shared use lane for bicycle connectivity.

This project will construct new pedestrian and bicycle facilities by giving Pace Street a classic road diet within its current four·lane transportation structure. New concrete sidewalks would be constructed for Q_4 miles along both sides of the corridor.
