The proposed project would consist of improvements to State Route (SR) 1 04/River Watch Parkway between Quarry Road and Rivershoals Parkway in Augusta, Georgia.

Work includes the installation of upgrades to the railroad crossing warning device equipment on the railroad right-of-way, installation of RRX signings, and pavement markings on roadway approaches to the CXS crossing at ID No. 640128L.

The proposed project includes the closure of highway-rail at-grade crossings at W. Green Street (CS 81213) and S Lee Street (CS 72813), where "T" Type turnarounds will be constructed at both locations on the south side of the CSX Transportation railroad ROW.

On January 13 and 22, 2015, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed roundabout at Jodeco Road at Blackhall Road/Longwood Drive in Henry County, Georgia (Georgia Department of Transportation [GDOT] P.I. No. 0012642, HP No. 150130-002).

SR 5 Connector/Ernest W Barrett Parkway (Barrett Parkway) currently forms a four way intersection with George Busbee Parkway (Busbee Parkway) and Roberts Court. Barrett Parkway consists of three 12- foot travel lanes in each direction separated by a 4-6 foot raised median.

The proposed project is located in the City of Marietta at the intersection of SR 5/Atlanta Street and SR 120/South Marietta Parkway.

This project will provide operational and safety improvements along CR 635/Maxham Road for approximately .4 miles from SR 6/Thornton Road to Tree Terrace Parkway.

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) archaeologists identified site 9ME1402 during survey at 1311 Warm Springs Road (Parcel 30) in Columbus, Georgia.

The proposed project would consist of pedestrian infrastructure improvements along the west side of Beaver Ruin Road (State Route [SR]378 ) in the vicinity of Summerour Middle School in the City of Norcross in Gwinnett County.
