Report Abstracts

This project is the relocation of S.R. 53 from the intersection of S.R. 53 and C.R. 305 in Jasper southeast along C.R. 294 to C.R. 18. From this point to the rejoining of S.R. 53, the project is on new location. The project length is 11 miles, 10 miles along existing route C.R.

Environmental Corporation of America (ECA) has completed an Archaeological Assessment for the federal undertaking at the subject site. The subject site includes a 100-foot by 100-foot compound and a 379-foot by 20-foot proposed access.

This project involves the widening of Alpharetta Street in Roswell from Canton Street to Holcomb Bridge Road. The road would be widened from two and three lanes to five lanes. Eighty-six feet of right-of-way would be needed, and existing right-of-way varies between 50 and 80 feet.

The proposed project would improve the intersections of SR 8/US 78/Bankhead Highway with CR 268/Mann Road and Mason Creek Road, CR 250/Conners Road, and CR 808/Post Road and the intersection of Post Road and Mason Creek Road in the Winston community of Douglas County, Georgia.

The proposed project would consist of the construction of nine-foot wide concrete sidewalks with a two-foot brick paver, and 2.5-foot tree/utility strip along both sides of Sandy Springs Circle from Hammond Drive to the project terminus at SR 9/Roswell Road.
