On November 2, 1976, the Columbus Museum of Arts and Crafts, Inc. was retained by Steele Enterprises, Inc. to conduct a cultural resource walkover of the proposed site of Crosscreek Apartments, Columbus, Georgia.

This report is a request for Determination of Eligibility for the 9DA104 site in DeKalb County, Georgia. This site is, specifically, between I-285, West Side Place, and Henrico Road.

This report is a proposal for Soapstone Ridge to be nominated in the National Register of Historic Places Inventory. Numerous archaeological surveys have been completed in this area at the time of publication of this report in 1978.
