A cemetery located within the Parsons Plantation development tract meets the definition of"abandoned cemetery" provided in Georgia's 1991 Abandoned Cemeteries and Burial Grounds Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated, Georgia Code Section [OCGA] 36-72-2):

A cultural overview was developed the proposed Eisenhower Parkway Extension project. Brockington and Associates, Inc. conducted this work for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), Office of Environment and Location under a subcontract with HDR Engineering, Inc. (HDR).

On June 11, 2009, Brockington and Associates, Inc. completed a Phase I cultural resources survey at the proposed location of a US Army Reserve Center, southwest of the intersection of Georgia State Route 316 and Bethlehem Road, near Winder, Georgia (referred to as the Preferred Site).

Archaeological, historical, and biological assessment of the 1.6 mile long (100 feet wide) proposed Plant Mcintosh railroad corridor, in Effingham County, Georgia, was conducted for Savannah Electric and Power Company.
