The purpose of this project was to conduct an archaeological survey of the area to be impacted by construction of the City of Atlanta's proposed Constitution Road Combined Sewer Overflow Facility in DeKalb County, Georgia.

The King Site is located in Foster's Bend on the Coosa River in the western portion of Floyd County, Georgia. This site has long been known to residents of Rome and Floyd County, and artifacts from the site are illustrated in the local history written By George Battey, Jr. in 1922 (1922: 76).

A Phase II archaeological testing program was conducted for the proposed Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport Commuter Runway project for the City of Atlanta by Garrow & Associates, Inc.

This report documents the findings of a Phase I archaeological survey of 24.28 hectares (60 acres) in central Cherokee County, Georgia. This survey was undertaken in advance of the proposed construction of a Wal-Mart near Canton.

The objective of this project was to conduct an archaeological and botanical survey of the areas to be impacted by the construction of the proposed raw water transmission main for Sparta, Georgia, under the provisions of an authorization prepared on April 13, 1977.

The Chieftains excavation project was carried out during the summers of 1969, 1970, and 1971. The 1969 excavation was carried out over a two week period and underwritten by the Colanese Fibers Corporation of Rome.

The Rocky Mountain cultural resource investigations began in 1972 and have continued to 1997 with preparation of the project cultural resource technical synthesis. The initial cultural resources management plan (CRMP) was completed in 1981 by James J. Shive and amended in 1982.

This document synthesizes the results of the various cultural resource studies conducted at the site of the Rocky Mountain Hydroelectric Project in Floyd County, Georgia, between 1972 and 1993.
