"In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project NH-985-1(322), Hall County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP)

Archaeological Assessment of an Appling County Resurfacing Project. The proposed project consists of the milling, resurfacing and striping of SR 4 beginning at M.P. 8.60 and ending at M.P. 10.9. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required.

Archaeological Assessment of a Carroll County Resurfacing Project. The proposed project consists of the milling, resurfacing, striping and rumble strip installation of SR I beginning at M.P. 14.73 and ending at M.P. 21.54.

Archaeological Assessment of a Dodge County Resurfacing Project. The proposed project consists of the resurfacing, leveling, shoulder building and milling of SR 87 beginning at M.P. 19.21 and ending at M.P. 29.21.

Archaeological Assessment of a Brooks County Road Improvement Project. The proposed project consists of the overlaying, milling of bridge approaches, permanent pavement markings, shoulder building and raised pavement markings on SR 333 beginning at M.P. 13.09 and ending at M.P. 29.03.

Ga. DOT project BRF- 009-2(57) involves the replacement of three bridges on U.S. 17 in Chatham County at the following locations: 1) Savannah River; 2) Middle River; and 3) Back River.

Archeological Assessment of a Dougherty/Worth County Resurfacing Project. This project proposes to mill, resurface, construct 2' shoulders, and install rumble strips on SR 133 beginning at the Colquitt/Worth County Line and ending at M.P. 7.50 in Dougherty County.
