Report Abstracts

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, STP-153-1(27), Dooly County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Archaeological Assessment of Off-System Safety Improvements in Rabun County, Georgia. The proposed project would include Off-System Safety Improvements at 12 streets in the City of Dillard in Rabun County.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project EDS-440(3), Jenkins County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Archeological Assessment of a Fannin/Gilmer/Pickens County Rumble Strip Installation Project. This proposed project consists of installing ground-in rumble strips in both directions on the shoulder of SR 515 from Pickens County to Fannin County.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project M-9292(2), DeKalb County, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

This is a bridge project, BRZLB-151(8), located in Henry County. The bridge is on Turner Church Road/ CR 132 and crosses Walnut Creek Tributary. The existing structure is a 33 foot long by 12 foot wide bridge a concrete substructure, steel main support, and timber deck.

This is a bridge project, BRS-2418(2), located in Echols County. The bridge is on SR 94 and crosses Alapaha River as well as three overflows. The three bridges are all 270 feet long and 22 feet wide. All are concrete bridges and the existing ROW is 200 feet.

The proposed reconstruction of the Courtland -Street bridge over CSX Railroad and Decatur Street, begins at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and ends at Gilmer Street. These limits were set to include the detour routes.

Widen existing bridge on west side 36;’ required 40’ additional right of way on west side. No wetland involvement, no archaeological sites.

Replace bridge on existing alignment proposed structure Concrete Bridge. Required 80' R/W. Road to be closed during construction. Drainage Area - 48 Sq. Mi.
