Report Abstracts

This is a bridge project, BRSLB-2365, located in Fulton County. The bridge is on Hopewell Road and crosses Chicken Creek Tributary. The existing bridge is 24 feet wide by 41 feet long with 4 foot shoulders on 40 feet of right of way.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project SR 166@ Enon Road, Fulton County, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places

This is a bridge project, BHF-017-3(54), located in Floyd and Chattooga Counties. The two bridges are on SR 1/ US 27 and crosses Armuchee Creek and Little Armuchee Creek. The existing structure over Armuchee Creel is a 28 feet wide by 192 feet long bridge in Floyd County.

This is a bridge project, BRF-103-1(9), located in Effingham County. The bridge is on SR 119 and crosses Ogeechee River Overflow. The existing structure is a 424 foot long by 27 foot wide bridge. The existing ROW is 80 feet.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project RS-0953(11), Effingham, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Bridge over Big Slough Creek is proposed to be, replace on existing alignment with a 180’ x 38’ concrete bridge. Road shall be closed during construction and traffic would be maintained on other routes. No additional right of way would be required.

Proposed triple 10’ 6’ x 36’ concrete bridge culvert on existing alignment. Eighty feet of right of way will be required for construction. Road will be closed during construction.

New structures will be a triple 9’ x 8’ x 50’ bridge culvert, a double 7’ x 6’ x 50’ box culvert, a triple 9’ x 8’ x 50’ bridge culvert, a triple 9’ x 8’ x 50’ bridge culvert and a 40’ x 320’’ bridge, respectively.
