Report Abstracts

This is the investigation of a mound in a proposed weight station area near Uchee Creek on I-20 in Columbia County. The project was originally supposed to miss the mound, but has been revised to take it. The mound Is 10-15 feet high and rises sharply above the surrounding land.

A cemetery on passing lane project on SR 18 was investigated—proposed project is at concept development stage. The small, private cemetery is located on a hilltop at the intersection of CR 41 and SR 18.

The proposed project will be the construction of a new DOT area office in White county. The project area is located approximately 2 miles NW of Cleveland, GA on Albert Reid Road.

Project STP-132-1(7), Brooks County: Determination of No Undertaking. The subject project would consist of leveling and resurfacing of SR 76.

Environmental Corporation of America’s (ECA) client, RG Towers, LLC, is proposing to construct a telecommunications facility as described in the following FCC Form 620, New Tower (NT) Submission Packet.

The proposed work consists of milling, patching. resurfacing, striping, as well as the installation of raised pavement markers and curb cuts for Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant sidewalk ramps along a 2.81-mile section of State Route (SR) 204/ Abercorn Street in Chatham County.

The proposed work will take place along a 0.650-mile section of State Route (SR) 38/US 84 in Ware County starting at the intersection of McDonald Street to the intersection of Carswell. A venue (MP 18.503 - MP 19.153) (Figure I).

Environmental Corporation of America’s (ECA) client, Southern Communications Services, d/b/a Southern Linc Wireless c/o Value Concepts, Inc., is proposing to construct a telecommunications facility as described in the following FCC Form 620, New Tower (NT) Submission Packet.

BRMLB-4001(1), Chatham County: Georgia DOT Project BRMLB-4001(1) is an in-place bridge replacement over Shipyard Creek in Savannah. Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted. Only those areas which have been disturbed by previous bridge construction will be affected.

In compliance with Section I 06 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project FH-006-1(1), Rabun County, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP)
