Reevaluation of Project BRN-066-1 (26), Twiggs County - Bridges over Richland and Dry Branch Creeks: The following changes have occurred since the last environmental approval, which was a Reevaluation dated January 4, 1991:

Original Project

SITE 1 - Richland Creek

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project RS-2844(1), Taliaferro has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Subterranean Consultants (STC) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed Cannon Road telecommunication facility lease area and access/utility easement on November 29, 2018.

This is the construction of a detour bridge over Bull Creek on SR 129. The existing bridge will be replaced in place and the detour is about 1200 feet long and the center line is located 50’ east of the existing area.

The interaction of SR 20 and Pleasant Hill will be relocated; SR 20 would be realigned to intersect with Pleasant Hill Rd. on new alignment south of the present intersection. An estimated 100 ft. of ROW would be required.

This is the replacement of the bridge on CR 60 over Bay Branch with a culvert. There is an extensive wetland on NW ¼ with the SW side being extremely low and apparently wet.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, STP-162-1 (17), Fayette County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project F-114-1(39), Cobb County, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the following projects were sur­veyed with respect to archaeological resources; especially those which may be eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

The proposed project would replace the existing two-lane bridge on State Route (SR) 376 over the Alapohoochee River between the towns of Statenville and Lake Park with a new bridge consisting of two 12-foot lanes and 8-foot shoulders.
