This survey was conducted in conjunction with BHF-031-1(21) in Quitman. The project consists of a 1 ½ mile passing lane for US 82/SR 50. An eastbound lane is to be added from mile post 14.18 to 15.68 in Quitman County.

This is a county borrow pit located northwest of Dublin. Jerry Moye called and reported finding lithics on the ground surface of an older borrow area. A pedestrian survey in and surrounding the extract pit located several chert flakes.
