GDOT project NH-IM-95-1(154) in Glynn County consists of bridge widenings on 4 major bridges over South Brunswick River, SR 303/Hillary Slough, Turtle River and Gibson Creek.

As part of the research carried out on this proposed project, the archaeologist attached to the Environmental Analysis Bureau was sent to the area. Prior to her field work she checked the county site file to see if there were any known sites within the project area.

Borrow area (sand) southeast of Louisville just of SR 17 and CR 171 near the Ogeechee River.

The project under consideration involves the widening of a portion of Ben Hill Road located in Fulton County. The northern end of the road intersects with Welcome All Road, approximately one-half mile south of Camp Creek Parkway and approximately 1.5 miles west of I-285.

The turn lane is to be constructed in conjunction with the railroad grade separation project. No potential archaeological/historical impacts.

Environmental Corporation of America (ECA) has completed an Archaeological Assessment for the federal undertaking at the subject site.

Georgia DOT Project # BRZLB-0245(3) is an in-place bridge replacement project at Oates Creek and County Road 447 in Richmond County District 2. Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted.
