This report describes the archaeological background, mapping, and test unit excavation of a looted gneiss outcrop on a hilltop ridge in Jackson County, Georgia.

Environmental Corporation of America’s client, Southern Company, is proposing to construct a 113-foot tall (overall height) monopole communications structure within a Georgia Power substation located at 250 Blacksmith Road, Leslie, Sumter County, Georgia.
