Report Abstracts

In May 2022, Trileaf Corporation (Trileaf) performed a cultural resource inventory survey for a proposed self-support telecommunications tower located in Nahunta, Brantley County, GA (Latitude: 31° 15 53.28” Longitude: -81° 57’ 36.53”).

This report represents the final report for site 9PM205, the excavation of which was provided for in Appendix 3 of the Archaeological Salvage Agreement between the University of Georgia and the Georgia Power Company.

The Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) Transmission Line (TL) includes the Vogtle-Scherer 500 KV Line Route (V-STL) which begins at the VEGP and traverses westward through Burke, Jefferson, Washington, Putnam, Hancock, Baldwin, Jones, and Monroe Counties, Georgia.

In response to a request from Ignite Wireless, Inc., RESCOM Environmental Corp (RESCOM) has completed a Phase Ia archaeological reconnaissance and records check for a proposed telecommunications tower site in Jackson County, Georgia (Figure 1).
