Report Abstracts

The following document represents the results of archeological investigations (intensive survey and monitoring) and historic background study for a proposed interpretative trail project in eastern Putnam County, Georgia (Figure 1 and Table 1).

In June, 2006 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted a Phase I archeological survey of the proposed 2.5 ha (6.2 ac) Milton230/25/12 kV substation in northern Fulton County.

This report presents the results of an intensive archeological survey performed by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. in eastern Charlton County, where the Georgia Transmission Corporation wishes to construct the proposed Homeland 230/115 kV Substation.

This report contains a review of known cultural resources in the vicinity of Little River Dam #25 in Fulton County Georgia and the results of a cultural resources reconnaissance survey of the Project APE. Fieldwork was performed in February 2017 by Golder Associates, Inc. (Golder).

Between October 25 and 27, 2005, New South Associates conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey of the proposed interchange at I-95 and CR 138 (Horse Stamp Church Road) in Camden County, Georgia.

Road construction for the widening of US 80 in Chatham County, Georgia, near the Effingham/Chatham County line, identified an area of corduroy road construction underlying the existing highway. Corduroy roads were made of logs, placed side by side to form a solid surface for traffic and transit.

The proposed project would reconstruct the existing interchange on Interstate 75 (I-75) and County Road (CR) 418/Omega-Eldorado Road (Exit 55) in Tift County.

Akers Mill Road is located in Cobb County, Georgia. The project corridor begins at Cumberland Blvd SE and ends at Camp Parkway. The project corridor crosses both US 41 and I-75. The project will enhance the pedestrian streetscape with a sidewalk and the addition of a multi-use path.

The proposed project would consist of expanding the NaviGAtor system in DeKalb and Gwinnett Counties in order to provide traffic monitoring and surveillance and ramp meters on US 78 from the Lawrenceville Highway/US 29 interchange to the intersection with East Park Place Boulevard.

The development will consist of 60 independent-living apartment homes.
