Report Abstracts

The proposed project would widen and reconstruct SR 142 from I-20 to just north of the SR 142/CR 74 intersection in Newton County. Existing right-of-way is approximately 130 feet. Approximately 3000 feet east and 3000 feet west of SR 142 on Alcovy Road will be widened also.

This proposed project was originally surveyed with concurrence received in 1997.

In February 2006, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey for the proposed Lester Mill Road and Bethlehem Road improvements project. The length of the project corridor is approximately 2.5 miles.

The proposed project consists of three segments with the purpose of widening and reconstructing State Route (SR) 140 between SR 53 and SR 3. The project numbers are: STP-0004-00(915), STP-019-1(15), and BHF-019-1(16); P.I. #s are 0004915, 621500, and 621505.

The proposed projects, uniformly known as the Atlantic Sation Redevelopment Project, consist of various activities such as construction of new multimodal roadways at US 41 /SR 3 and 17 th Street, ramp modifications at I-75/85 roadway reconstruction at 14th Street and new bridge construction over

In February 2006, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted additional survey at the site of the proposed bridge replacement over Big Horse Creek, Telfair County, Georgia. The total length of the redesigned project is 0.50 miles.

The proposed project would consist of traffic signal upgrades at 34 intersections in DeKalb County.

Since the original short form was submitted, one intersection was dropped (Flat Shoals Pkwy. @ Snapfinger Rd.) and three were added: Covington Hwy. @ S. Hairston, Covington Hwy. at Mary Bethune, and Columbia Drive at Casa Linda Drive.

The proposed original project consisted of approximately 400 acres and was surveyed by Brockington and Associates, Inc. with concurrence received in October 2000.

The proposed project would consist of improvements to the intersection of SR 92/Lake Acworth Road at Collins Circle in Cobb County, Georgia. The proposed project would add a left-turn lane on SR 92/Lake Acworth Drive at Collins Circle.
