Report Abstracts

An archaeological and historic architecture reconnaissance survey for the proposed Cowan Road Improvement and Extension Project in Acworth, Cobb County, Georgia, was undertaken by Garrow & Associates, Inc., in August 1996.

This report presents the results of a Phase I cultural resources survey conducted at the proposed Rome Optional Regeneration Site (HP000517-005) in Floyd County, Georgia (Figure 1).

Project BRST-0000-00(301), Towns County, P.I. No. 0000301, Addendum to Phase I Archaeological Survey of SR 17/SR 75 over the Hiawassee River, would replace the structurally deficient bridge on State Route (SR) 17/SR 75 over the Hiawassee River, 6.5 miles south of Hiawassee, Georgia.

The proposed project, Phase I Archaeological Survey of the SR 133 over the GA/FL Railnet, Dougherty County, Georgia GDOT Project BRST-093-1 (44), P.I. 432125 would consist of replacing the southern bridge on S.R. 133/ Moultrie Road over Georgia & Florida Railnet in Albany, Georgia.

The original proposed project would consist of constructing exclusive left turn lanes onto CR 100/Pat Colwell Road and CR 200/Pat Haralson Drive, with a 610-foot long two-way left turn lane.
