In October 1997 Brockington and Associates conducted an intensive archaeological survey of the proposed Post Oak Tritt Road shoulder widening and improvement corridor in Cobb County, Georgia. The project was conducted for the Greenhorne and O'Mara, Inc.

A Phase I archeological investigation was conducted by Bums & McDonnell, Inc. for Williams Communications, Inc.

Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted a cultural resources evaluation of approximately 11.4 km (7.1 miles) of transmission line between the South Acworth and Hawkins Store substations, west of Acworth, in Cobb County, Georgia.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of a 90 acre act of land in Harris and Muscogee Counties from August 18' to 23rd, 2000. The project area is located immediately east of Interstate 185 and straddles the Harris-Muscogee County line.
