On October 9' of 2006 New South Associates (NSA) conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey of an approximately five-acre tract in Cobb and Douglas Counties, Georgia. The goal of the survey was to determine whether the property contained evidence of past human occupation.

Five tracts ranging between two and five acres are to be the proposed sites for drop shafts associated with a sewer conveyance tunnel system terminating at the Chattahoochee River. The construction sites are located within Cobb County.

Greenhouse Consultants Incorporated was retained by United Consulting to undertake a cultural resources survey and archaeological shovel testing of the proposed Davis Lake Cellular Tower site in Jackson County, Georgia.

This report documents the Phase I cultural resource survey of the tract slated for construction of upgrades to the existing sewage treatment plant for the City of Emerson in Bartow County, Georgia. The archaeological fieldwork was conducted on May 14, 1999, by TRC Garrow Associates, Inc.

The project scope involves the construction of a 300' lattice telecommunications tower located on the north side of Bush Road, adjacent to and north of Interstate 16. The 100' X 100' lease area is located on a parent parcel that consists of approximately 54 acres of raw, wooded land.
