Report Abstracts

In May, 2007 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted a Phase I archeological survey of a proposed 7.0 ha (17.22 ac) substation tract in southern Rockdale County, Georgia.

In August of 2007 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted a Phase I archeological survey of approximately 5.3 km (3.3 mi) of a proposed 230 kV transmission line corridor between two electrical substations in southwestern Rockdale County and southeastern DeKalb County.

The Georgia Transmission Corporation is proposing to construct about 3.94 km (2.45 miles) of transmission line along Rockbridge Road in suburbanized southern Gwinnett County.

In September, 2006 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted a Phase I archeological survey of a proposed 4.96 ha (12.27 ac) substation tract in northern Gwinnett County, Georgia.

In November of 2006, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted a Phase I archeological survey of the proposed 14.3 km (8.8 mi) Gum Hill 115 kV transmission line and the 4.1 ha (10.1 ac) Gum Hill substation site in southeastern Greene and northwestern Hancock County, Georgia.

This report presents the results of an intensive archeological survey performed by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. in southern Jackson County, where the Georgia Transmission Corporation wishes to construct the 230 kV Clarksboro substation.

In November 2007, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS) conducted a Phase I archeological survey of the approximate 11.4-km (7.1-mi) long proposed Bethabara-Georgia Square 115 kV transmission line corridor located in northwestern Oconee and western Clarke Counties, Georgia.

In late July, 2007 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted a Phase I archeological survey of a proposed 1.1 ha (2.68 ac) substation tract in western Newton County, Georgia.
