This cultural resource survey covers 257.5 acres near Hanna Branch, in northern Putnam and Jasper Counties for the proposed Lynch land exchange, examined in March and May 1982. An unmarked cemetery and three heavily disturbed late 19th-early 20th century house sites were found on the tract.

On April 6, 1982, a Cultural Resource Survey was conducted over a 1.4 mile roadway and an adjacent 167 acres on Chestnut Mountain in southwestern Whitfield County, Georgia. The roadway will be impacted by proposed U.S. Forest Service Road 212-A Extension.

In February 17 - June 7, 1982, cultural resource surveys were conducted on three proposed roadways in the Armuchee Ranger District. Each of the roads required access across private property to enter the Chattahoochee National Forest.
