Report Abstracts

A Phase I archaeological survey approximately of 232 acres (93.9 ha), within the boundaries of the Georgia Air National Guard (ANG) Base, Savannah International Airport (IAP), was conducted during the period September 3-4, 1998, and January 26-28, 1999.

In June of 2005, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted an intensive archeological survey of the proposed SR 282 Connector, located in the southeastern portion of Murray County, Georgia.

In mid-June, 2000, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted a reconnaissance level archeological survey of approximately 355 acres in Murray County, Georgia. The Georgia Department of Transportation is proposing to build a road that will connect US 76/SR 282 and US 411/SR 61.

R.S. Webb & Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of tracts included in the USDA/Forest Service's Armuchee Ridges ecosystem restoration project. The project area is located on the Conasauga Ranger District in Chattooga, Floyd, Gordon, and Walker Counties, Georgia.
