Report Abstracts

Originally, the proposed project consisted of the widening and reconstruction of SR 124. The project would begin at Centerville-Rosebud Road and ends at Henry Clower Boulevard in the city of Snellville. Existing right-of-way varies from 18.3 m to 24.4 m (60 ft to 80 ft).

During the month of February, 1998 New South Associates conducted a 1,300 acre survey of the Daves Creek development tract in Forsyth County, Georgia. A total of 30 sites, 25 isolated finds, and 1 prerecorded architectural complex were located within the proposed project area.

R. S. Webb & Associates conducted a cultural resources survey of the proposed Silver Creek Future Development Area, Phases IV - X (202.3 hectares), in Forsyth County, Georgia, April 29 through May 15, 1996.

An archaeological survey was performed by GDOT for project F-012-1(56), Floyd County. One site of potential National Register of Historic Places significance was identified.

R. S. Webb & Associates conducted evaluative testing excavations at Site 9FO233 located in the Grand Cascades Creek development site. The Grand Cascades Creek development site is located 11.3 kilometers (7.0 miles) southeast of Cumming, Georgia in Forsyth County.

The proposed project consists of the construction of the Clyde Williams Boulevard connector from Ronald Reagan Parkway northeasterly to SR 124 and easterly to North Road. The Clyde Williams Boulevard connector from Ronald Reagan Parkway to SR 124 would be within the existing right-of-way.

The proposed project was originally included in project NH-078-1(20), Gwinnett County. That project consisted of the widening and reconstruction of SR 124. The project would begin at Rockbridge Road in Gwinnett County and ends at Centerville-Rosebud Road in Gwinnett County.

The original concept for project MLP-20(100) involved the widening and reconstruction of SR 20 on new and existing alignment in the city of Lawrenceville.

This project is the widening of Ga. 13/U.S. 23 from the Ga. 20 intersection at the south terminus to Ga. 13 Loop at the north terminus. The project will occur within existing right-of-way which is 200 feet wide. The total length of the project is 1.22 miles.

The proposed project would add a left turn lane southbound on SR 20/Buford Highway at the intersection with SR 324/Hog Mountain Road, widening on the east side. Widening would occur within the existing 80 feet right of way.
