Report Abstracts

This report includes findings by Richard Lee Smith in association with the Research Laboratories of Anthropology from the University of North Carolina during the summer of 1970 on Mr. Jake Pollard Jr’s property in Appling, Georgia. Sites listed in report include 9CB12 and 9CB18.

Environmental Corporation of America (ECA) has completed an Archaeological Assessment for the federal undertaking at the subject site.

In October of 1997 a Phase I archeological survey was undertaken for the proposed Yellow River Interceptor sewer line in the town of Milstead, Rockdale County, Georgia.

The project would consist of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improvements along 10.7 miles of roadway in the City of Dunwoody.

This report presents the findings of a cultural resources survey for a natural gas pipe replacement project. The survey took place in southeastern Douglas County approximately five miles south of the city of Douglasville, Georgia.

This project was an on-site inspection of Alex Nuckles Sr. Apartments in Fulton County.

Judge Ellis phoned this office back in the fall (1998) to ask about the origin of some rock piles he had seen on his property. He had read articles about the stone mounds in Gwinnett Co. I told him we would like to see his property after the leaf cover had fallen.

As part of our site research and inventory, we walked the site and did a visual survey. During this survey we did not see or notice anything unusual that could be the remnants of an earlier settlement.
