Environmental Corporation of America’s (ECA) client, Georgia Power Company, is proposing to construct a communications facility as described in the following FCC Form 620, New Tower (NT) Submission Packet.

On June 26, 1989, Robert s. Webb conducted an intensive coverage cultural resources survey of approximately 1.6 kilometers (1.0 miles) of a proposed transmission line corridor (Abba 115 kV line) in Ben Hill and Irwin Counties, Georgia.

The project will involve the addition of signage, lighting, and landscape enhancements to the area starting on SR 13/Buford Highway, at the southbound Pleasant Hill Road on-ramp, north to May Road.

The project archaeologist conducted a pedestrian inspection of the project tract on June 21 and 23, 2016. The goal of this investigation was to assess the condition of the project tract, and identify any potential archaeological resources.

Between June 13 and June 24, Brockington and Associates, Inc. (Brockington) conducted Phase II Testing at Archaeological Site 9GE2720 on the Lake Oconee Academy Tract in Greene County, Georgia. A project location map is provided in Figure 1.1 and a site location map is provided in Figure 1.2.
