Report Abstracts

In February, 2003, Southeastern Archeological Services conducted an archeological survey of the proposed Jennings Mill Parkway, within the city limits of Athens in Clarke County, Georgia.

This report includes a description and pictures of the Agnew site in Walker County.

The St. Marys Airport (4J6 or Airport) is located in the City of St. Marys, Georgia which is situated in the southeast corner of Camden County, Georgia.

On January 7, 1978, a preliminary survey of archaeological reconnaissance was completed at the fireside subdivision south of Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia. Fireside subdivision lies between Redd and Mutimer Drives.

At the request of the Savannah District Corps of Engineers I conducted an archaeological reconnaissance of approximately 4,100 feet of Bay Gall Creek in Warner Robins, Georgia.

In August and September 1990, 38 person-days of field work were spent in intensive archeological survey of ca. 440 acres of upland terrain and two miles of shoreline and channel immediately below the Russell Dam in along the upper Savannah River in Elbert County, Georgia.

Investigation of the area designated for highway construction in the Department of Transportation letter dated October 16, 1972 was performed on February 17, 1973.

On behalf of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Savannah District, the USACE, Wilmingotn District contracted Panamerican Consultants, Inc. (PCI) to perform a Phase II evaluation of archaeological Sites 9MF664 and 9MF666, located in the Clarks Hill Wildlife Management Area, J.

The archaeological reconnaissance of the Upper Flint River Basin was conducted over a 12 week period with several other chance visits, located in Middle Georgia. A total of 76 sites were catalogued in Upson, Pike, Talbot, Taylor, and Meriwether counties.

This report constitutes an evaluation of the cultural resources contained within a tract of land in the northeastern portion of Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.
