It is my conclusion, based upon the above described investigations, that the large stone mound in question is not an aboriginal burial or ceremonial mound.

9346 Decatur County - Spring Restoration at Lake Seminole

Approximately, 500 cubic yards of material were removed from the spring site located on the attached map. Of the material removed, at least 50% was composed of organic material such as leaves and limbs. The remaining material was course sand and a few pieces of limestone.
