Report Abstracts

As part of our site research and inventory, we walked the site and did a visual survey. During this survey we did not see or notice anything unusual that could be the remnants of an earlier settlement.

This project was an on-site inspection of Southern Pines Subdivision in Fulton County, Georgia for the Mesa Corporation completed by Lewis H. Larson, Jr of the Department of Natural Resources.

The proposed acquisition and development of the Northwest Park by the City of Cedartown consists of acquiring approximately 20 acres and developing a multi-purpose outdoor recreation facility for Cedartown.

This project was an on-site inspection of the proposed Ashland Estates Subdivision located along the Clayton and Fulton County lines in Georgia.

This project was an on-site inspection of the proposed Lyons Park area located near the City of Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia.

This report documents the results of the archaeological survey of a portion of the Atlanta Historical Society Grounds, Fulton County, Georgia. The field work was carried out by the Field Director on February 7, 1991. No significant archaeological resources were discovered during this survey.

This report discusses the application of instrumental neutron activation analysis in prehistoric steatite artifacts and source material. The report itself was published out of the University of Virginia, but used artifacts found in Georgia.

This report documents results from a surface examination of exposed areas of Woodvalley Estates subdivision by Thomas Eubanks in August of 1977. No exposed archaeological evidence immediately around any of the completed dwellings.

This letter is to inform you that the proposed project area for construction at the Southeast Fish Control Laboratory has been checked by this office to determine whether or not it intruded on an archaeological site.

On Thursday, March 20, 1975, a survey for archaeological and historical resources was conducted along the proposed route of the Peachtree Creek Relief sewer line from Bob Jones Golf Course (formerly Atlanta Memorial Park) and its junction with Peachtree Creek west through a residential area, an i
