Viasat, Inc. (Viasat) proposes to construct, operate, and maintain a new satellite earth station not to exceed 3.0 meters (m) (10 feet [ft]) in height, located in Long County, Georgia (Project).

On December 16, 2016, Jackson Mueller of ERM conducted a site visit at 457 Thurman Road, Stockbridge, GA, for a proposed communications project. The project consists of a Raw Land-New Build Satellite Access Node (SAN) facility. The proposed project area consists of a 30ft. (9.1 m) x 40ft.

A Phase I archaeological survey was performed on March 1, 2015 of the proposed lease area and access of the Livestock telecommunication facility located in Carrollton, Georgia (33° 36' 52.1" N, 84° 59' 36.2" W).

Terracon conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed Metropolitan cell tower site on April 18, 2014. The archaeological survey area was equal to the area of the proposed tower site, its related utility easements, and the proposed access road (Figure 2).

An intensive Phase I archaeological survey was performed on May 22, 2015 of the proposed lease area and access {also called survey area) of the Flier telecommunication facility located in Vidalia, Georgia (32° 19' 50. I" N, 8~ 24' 16.88" W).

Camp Frank D. Merrill is home to the 5th Ranger Training Battalion, U.S. Army. The ranger camp was established in 1952 and includes 282 acres of the north Georgia mountains in Lumpkin County (Figure I).
