Environmental Corporation of America (ECA) has completed an Archaeological Assessment for the federal undertaking at the subject site. The proposed undertaking would include a proposed 10-foot by 10-foot (3-meter by 3-meter) area that would include a 123-foot overall height pole structure.

The proposed project would consist of the construction of a two-lane roadway on new location along the south side of Interstate 20 (1-20) from Country Road (CR) 184/Cadley Road to CR 167/Ridge Road, approximately 2.44 miles in length.

The proposed project would replace the existing substandard bridge on State Route (SR) 219/River Road over Schley Creek northwest of Columbus in Muscogee County, Georgia.

This project involves the replacement of Bridge 057-5024-0, which carries Epperson Road over Canton Creek In Cherokee County. The project is a part of GDOT's Low Impact Bridge Program (LISP). The existing bridge, built in 1952, is structurally deficient and will be replaced.

During June 2017, R.S. Webb & Associates conducted a cultural resources Literature review and a Phase I cultural resources field survey of the proposed Horizon 400 tract in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

The original survey for this project was conducted by GDOT personnel and reported in a GDOT Archaeological Assessment In-House Survey Report (Williams 2014). No field survey was conducted as previous archaeological surveys had covered the APE and ESC for this project.
