An intensive archeological resources survey was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. in Floyd County, Georgia, along the southern segment of the proposed Southwest Rome Bypass.

A cultural resource survey was completed on August 11 and 29, 1994 for two proposed horse camps in the Upper Chattahoochee River Drainage. Two locations are proposed for this project, a day-use area and a developed horse camp.

Brockington and Associates, Inc. conducted archaeological resources survey and evaluation of a 26 mile segment of the proposed Outer Perimeter corridor in Gwinnett, Newton, Rockdale, and Walton Counties, Georgia.

Cultural resources field surveys were completed in November 1994 prior to timber operations for southern pine beetle suppressions. Thus far, two ranger districts have been affected, the Chattooga and Tallulah on the Chattahoochee National Forest.

This Phase I cultural resource survey was performed by Garrow & Associates, Inc. under contract with CH2M Hill Southeast, Inc., prior to the proposed widening of U. S. Highway 1.

An intensive cultural resources survey was conducted R.S. Webb & Associates on November 21, 1994 for the proposed three-acre Banks County water treatment facility and access road. The project area is located approximately 3.0 kilometers south of Baldwin, Georgia.

This report presents the results of an intensive cultural resources survey of 87 Fort Rucker lease properties located in southeastern Alabama, southwestern Georgia, and northern Florida.

This cultural resource survey was greatly facilitated by several individuals. Mr. Clay Doherty, Environmental Specialist for Oglethorpe Power Corporation, is thanked for coordinating this project and for providing the base maps and other pertinent information regarding the study corridor.

An intensive survey of the proposed Clarkesville 46/12 kV Distribution Substation found no archeological sites within the four acre tract. Because there are no sites, construction of the substation will have no impacts on any significant cultural resources and should be allowed to proceed.

An intensive survey of the proposed Red Hill 115/12 kV Distribution Substation found no archeological sites within the three acre tract. Because there are no sites, construction of the substation will have no impacts on any significant cultural resources and should be allowed to proceed.
