This report documents the results of the archaeology survey for Trileaf Corporation Project 648731 (Rosier Road GA - B), located in Waynesboro, Burke County, Georgia.

BRZLB-155(6) is a bridge project in Floyd County. The bridge is on Williams Street in Rome, Georgia and crosses Horse Leg Creek. The existing structure is a 37-foot-long by 17-foot-wide bridge.

Environmental Corporation of America (ECA) has completed an Archaeological Assessment for the federal undertaking at the subject site.

Termini-approximately 200’ each side of existing bridges. Widen existing bridges under the traffic to meet safety requirements. No additional right of way required. Bridges 1 and 2 to be widened 14 feet; 3 to be widened 4 feet. Begins 200’ south of bridge and ends 200’ north of bride.

This project involves widening of Interstate 75 from 285 in Cobb County north to Allgood Road in Marietta. Four more lanes would be added within the median. No additional right-of-way will be required.

Passing lane project with minor resurfacing north and south of passing lane. Proposed passing lane on east side of a distance of .8 miles and minor shoulder work on west side. Terrain is rolling rocky clay hills. No drainages crossed.
