S&ME, Inc. (S&ME) has completed the data recovery investigation at the Parker Plantation Site (archaeological site 9CH1185 or the site), in advance of a planned development at the Rockingham Farms Industrial Park Site (Figure 1-1).

The proposed project would address the need for sidewalks and improved pedestrian accommodations throughout the project corridor. Campbellton Road is a major thoroughfare providing connectivity between residential and commercial areas, as well as access to schools, parks, and churches.

This report summarizes mapping and test excavations at the following two sites: 1.) a rock shelter on a sharp bend in Walnut Creek and 2.) a ridge toe site known as 9JK17. Both sites are located within Tanner Park, a 55.62-acre land parcel within Jackson County, Georgia.

In response to a request from T-Squared Site Services, LLC., RESCOM Environmental Corp (RESCOM) has completed a Phase Ia archaeological reconnaissance and records check for a proposed 280-ft telecommunications tower site in Pierce County, Georgia (Figure 1).
