This letter constitutes an addendum to our archeological survey report for the above-referenced project, which was entitled, An Archeological Survey of Fifteen Intersection Improvements in Newton County, Georgia. The report was authored by Chad O.

On February 12, 2001, staff archaeologists from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) conducted an archaeological survey of CR 201 in Treutlen County, Georgia. More specifically, GDOT project PR-201(283) would grade, drain, base, and surface CR 201.

On December 7, 2001 and March 4, 2002 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted a Phase I archeological survey of a proposed State Route (SR) 16 safety improvement in Eatonton, Georgia.

An intensive archeological survey was conducted of the proposed West Hiram Parkway Extension corridor in Paulding County, Georgia.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) wishes to replace the bridge on State Route 1 and Federal Route 27 (SR 1/US 27) that crosses Mountain Creek in Harris County, Georgia near Callaway Gardens (Figure I).

A two-person crew of New South Associates, Inc. conducted a survey of the Dix Branch Bridge replacement on June 6, 2002. The bridge is located on SR 15 (Figure 1), within the city limits of Hoboken, in western Brantley County, Georgia.

A two-person crew of New South Associates, Inc. conducted a survey of the Cobb Creek Bridge replacement on June 5, 2002.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) wishes to replace the two bridges on State Route 74 and 85 (SR 74/85) that cross Red Oak Creek and White Oak Creek in eastern Meriwether County, Georgia (Figure 1).

In July and August of2001 and in January of 2002 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted an intensive archeological survey and site testing for the proposed widening of a 22.5 km (14.0mi) portion of U.S. Highway 1 in northern Emanuel and southern Jefferson Counties, Georgia.
