Gwinnett County is proposing to improve the intersection of U.S. 29 (Lawrenceville Highway) and Pleasant Hill/Lester Road near the community of Luxomni in southwest Gwinnett County.

During October and November 1999, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted historical research, archaeological reconnaissance, and limited surveys of shoreline areas in the Middle Chattahoochee Hydroelectric Project (FERC #2177).

The survey described here was designed to locate and evaluate archeological sites in the area of potential effect for a bridge replacement project proposed by the Georgia Department of Transportation on State Route 11 over Marbury Creek, about 2 km south of Winder in Barrow County, Georgia.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) wishes to replace the bridges on State Route 122 (SR 122) that cross Cat Creek and Withlacoochee River in Lowndes County, Georgia (Figure 1).

The survey described here was designed to locate and evaluate archeological sites in the areas of two bridge replacement projects proposed by the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The City of Calhoun, Georgia proposes to improve the water quality of its residents by constructing two small water reservoirs. Each of these reservoirs will be constructed on a one acre lot.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, DNR archaeologists conducted an intensive archaeological survey of a proposed Transportation Enhancement Activity project on Jekyll Island.

Terracon, at the request of its client Sprint PCS, conducted a systematic Phase I archaeological survey in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. The survey was carried out at the proposed location for a 180-foot monopole telecommunication tower.
