The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District, contracted with Brockington and Associates, Inc., to develop and to implement a plan for mothballing the ca. 1920 Spring Creek Powerhouse.

On November 14, 2002, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS) archeologically surveyed six highway/street intersections in the city of Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia (Figure 1).

R.S. Webb & Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of the proposed 75 hectare (ha; 186 acres) SoFul Landfill Site in south Fulton County, Georgia, from March 6 through March 14, 2003. The proposed landfill will occupy a 36 ha ©. 88 acres) parcel within this property.

On 21 May 2003, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive Phase I archaeological resources survey of the proposed State Route (SR) 145 bridge replacement over the North Fork of the Broad River in Franklin County, Georgia.

On 21 May 2003, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive Phase I archaeological resources survey of the proposed State Route (SR) 51 bridge replacement over the Middle Fork of the Broad River in Franklin County, Georgia.

On March 24, 2003, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., completed an archeological survey of five intersection improvement projects in Banks County, Georgia.

On April 3, 2003, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., completed an archeological survey of 26 intersection improvement projects in Floyd County, Georgia. One of the intersections is located northeast of Rome on SR 53 (Figure 1), and another is located southwest in Cave Springs (Figure 2).

Under contract with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), URS Corporation was tasked to conduct a Phase I Archaeological Survey (Phase I) of a proposed bridge replacement along Brown Creek Road/County Route (CR) 219 in Harris County, Georgia.

In February of 2002, Southeastern Archeological Services conducted an archeological survey of a 2.6 km (1.6 mi) stretch of proposed new roadway northwest of the city of Augusta in Columbia County, Georgia, for the Georgia Department of Transportation.

On 3 April 2003, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive Phase I archaeological resources survey for the proposed State Route (SR) 154 Bridge replacement over Bear Creek in Fulton County, Georgia, under contract with Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc.
