Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive Phase I archaeological resources survey on 7 January 2003 for the proposed State Route (SR) 83 bridge replacement over the Big Sandy Creek, in Morgan County, Georgia, under contract with Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc.

On 20 August 2002, Brockington and Associates, Inc., performed intensive archaeological resources survey (Phase I) within the approximately 656 meter (2,150 ft) project corridor for the proposed bridge replacement over Coldwater Creek along State Route (SR) 172 in Hart County, Georgia.

The Georgia Department of Transportation [GDOT] has proposed a project to widen US 80/SR 26 from just west of Bull River to just east of Lazaretto Creek in Chatham County, Georgia.

The survey described here was designed to locate and evaluate archeological sites in the area of a bridge replacement project proposed by the Georgia Department of Transportation. The project is located at the crossing of County Road 837 over Big Indian Creek in west-central Carroll County.

An intensive archaeological resources survey was carried out for the proposed Barnesville Transmission Line in Lamar County, Georgia. The project was carried out in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act by personnel qualified under 36 CFR Part 61.
