The proposed F.J. Torras Causeway extension project area extends into the City of Brunswick in Glynn County, Georgia for a total length of 0.383 mile (616.38 m), as found on the 1993 Brunswick East, Georgia 7.5' topographic quadrangle (see Attachment 2 and Attachment 5: Figure 1).

The majority of the Johns Creek Multi-Use Greenway Trail runs along Medlock Bridge Rd. (SR 141). The project is approximately 4.7 miles long and begins at the intersection of Findley and Medlock Bridge roads.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the Jones, Simpson, Alexander corridor in Fulton County on September 25, 2003. The corridor runs along the existing Jones, Simpson, and Alexander streets between Northside Drive and West Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta.

Terracon, at the request of its client Verizon Wireless, conducted a systematic Phase I archaeological survey in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. The survey was carried out at the proposed location for a 150-foot monopole telecommunications tower.
