An archeological survey was conducted for a proposed two-lane road to be constructed on new location in the northwest portion of Douglas. The road will be about 2.3 km (1.4 mi) long and between 24 and 30 m (80 and 100 ft) wide. It traverses mostly wooded terrain and crosses Twenty Mile Creek.
