Project will construct a new road to improve connectivity to Wal-Mart. The project area extends from US Hwy 84 northwest toward 4th Street. The project area measures 1,60(1 feet in a linear tract that is arranged in a senucircular pattern behind Waffle House and Zaxby's.

Project includes the construction of a 500'deceleration lane is existing ROW. a small parking lot, and a park between West Pine Street and Norfolk Southern Railroad adjacent to the cast side of McMillan Creek.

The proposed project would consist of the widening and reconstruction of North 2"d Avenue/State Route 101 in Rome (see Figure 1).

For this environmental study, Project STP-1336(11) would begin at the intersection of SR 141 and SR 9. Actual design and construction of the proposed project would begin 1,000 feet north of this intersection near Pendley Road.

The proposed project is located approximately one mile northwest of Warm Springs and includes the replacement of a CSX railroad bridge along with relocation of 1.0 to 1.5 miles of track and the lowering of SR 41 to provide adequate horizontal and vertical clearance under the bridge.
