The project area is a located in northern Lowndes County, just west of the Hahira town center. The rerouting of the existing Union Road (CR 38) is required to allow for the redesign and upgrade of the Interstate 75 interchange with Main Street, Hahira (GA 122, Exit 29).

The roundabout has an inside diameter of 100 feet, with a 10-foot wide' truck apron and a 15-foot wide travel lane. The outside shoulders would have a 24-inch curb and gutter with a 6-foot wide sidewalk and a 6-foot grass strip in all quadrants, except in the northeast quadrant.

The proposed project would construct a nine-foot wide sidewalk behind a six-inch curb and two-foot paver strip on both sides of Roswell Road between Abernathy Road and Johnson Ferry Road in Sandy Springs, Georgia. A 10-foot landscape strip would be constructed behind the sidewalks.
