R.S. Webb & Associates (RSWA) conducted a Phase I archeological resources survey on a section of the Thomaston-Silvertown Trail and Trailhead project, a Transportation Enhancement (TE) undertaking. The project area consists of a 25-acre (10 hectares) wooded area in Thomaston, Georgia.

Terracon conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey in preparation for the widening and realignment of SR 11/US 129 in Hall County in accordance with a contract from Keck & Wood and GDOT.

In July and August, 2000, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted a cultural resources survey of the approximately 15 mile long McGraw Ford-Dawson Transmission Line, in Cherokee and Dawson counties, Georgia.

An intensive Phase I archaeological assessment survey was recently conducted by PBS&J of the proposed Broxton (U.S. 441) Bypass, including Alabama Street/Railroad Street two-way pairs, located in Coffee County, Georgia. A systematic subsurface inspection of the proposed U.S.

The proposed project would re-stripe Glenwood Road and construct a raised median on the east side of the interchange. An island would be installed at Glenfair Road to allow only right-in/rightout movements.

Since the time of the approved Programmatic Categorical Exclusion on October 24, 2006, several design changes have been made. Previously, the proposed project required 2.50 acres of right-of-way and no temporary or permanent easement.

Southern Research has completed the Historical and Archaeological Resources Survey for the proposed Engineering Technology Center at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia.
