A Phase I archaeological survey was conducted for the Big Indian Creek Bridge Replacement project (CSBRG-0006-00(432)). The proposed project involves the replacement of two bridges that carry Seven Islands Road across Big Indian Creek and an overflow channel in Morgan County, Georgia.

This report presents the findings of a Phase I Archaeological Survey for a widening and reconstruction of US280 in Sumter County, Georgia. The area surveyed consisted of a corridor of expanded right-of-way along the existing path of US 280, portions of new alignment, and associated feeder roads.
