The project is located in the City of Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, along Buena Vista Road/CS 2228 from approximately 400 feet west of Brighton Road to approximately 500 feet east of Floyd Road, and includes the 1-185(Buena Vista Road interchange from approximately 800 feet south of Steam M

This project investigated both sides of College Station Road where it crosses the North Oconee River in Clarke County, Georgia. The Georgia Department of Transportation plans on replacing the pair of bridges over the river.

The APE for the current project is two park-and-ride lots, pedestrian bridges, and access lanes adjacent to Lexington Road/US 78. The APE was situated in a developed, urban area.

This is the proposed SR 120/Dallas Highway Pedestrian Improvements Phase II project. Phase II is currently one of 4 phases of the proposed pedestrian improvements along SR 120/Dallas Highway from Lost Mountain Rd. to Cheatham Hill Rd.

The proposed road project would consist of the widening of Cedarcrest Road from Karl Sanders Drive just inside of Paulding County to Governor's Towne Drive from two to four lanes.
