Report Abstracts

In April of 2008, KCI Technologies conducted a Phase I archaeological survey in conjunction with the 1-75 widening and reconstruction project in Cook County, Georgia.

On behalf of Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. and in compliance with the process for obtaining a United States Army Corps of Engineers Nationwide Permit, Terracon Consultants, Inc. conducted a Phase I intensive archaeological survey of approximately 105 acres in central Coweta County, Georgia.

This report details the results of New South Associates' Phase I Archaeological Survey of the Intersection of SR 53, Etowah River Road, and Thompson Road in Dawson County, Georgia for Heath & Lineback Engineers, Inc.

The existing Panola Road bridge over 1-20 and its four-quadrant ramps will be reconstructed in association with the proposed improvements to 1-20 under GDOT project NHS-0000-00 (715), P.1. 000715. The bridge replacement is programmed as P.I.

In July and August of 2007, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted a Phase I Cultural Resources Survey of the SR 8, Ponce de Leon Avenue/Scott Boulevard sidewalks and Deepdene trail improvement corridor in DeKalb County, Georgia, GDOT Project STPOO-000200 (404).

Tohopeka Archaeological Consulting was retained by Croy Engineering, LLC to undertake a Phase I archaeological survey in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto.

The proposed Potato Creek 2 Wetland Mitigation Bank is located in Lamar County and covers about 115 acres (Figures i and 2). The proposed undertaking includes riparian/wetland preservation and restoration in accordance with the details laid out in the mitigation bank permit application.

The proposed project would consist of traffic signal upgrades at six (6) intersections within Lincoln and McDuffie Counties, Georgia (see attached Figures 1 A and 1B).

The proposed project would reconstruct and realign the intersection of North Salem Road /Sigman Road and Old Covington Road (see attached Figure 1). These roadways would be realigned in order to improve the existing 41 degree skew angle to 61 degrees.

The proposed project would consist of the replacement of the bridge on CR 125/Smoak Road over Troublesome Creek, approximately four miles southeast of Sunnyside in Spalding County. The existing road is unpaved with two 11-foot lanes and rural shoulders.
