In 1983, Georgia Southern professor of political science, George Cox, developed an interest in one of Georgia's dead towns, Wrightsboro. Cox's interest was in the fact that this town had been originally settled by members of the Society of Friends (Quakers).

The Oconee National Forest lies in Greene, Jasper, Jones, Oconee, Oglethorpe, and Putnam Counties, Georgia in the Piedmont physiographic province. This is a region of rolling hills located between the flat coastal plain and the rugged mountains of North Georgia.

Project STP-0000-00(818) would construct right and left turn lanes at the SR 16/SR 74/85 intersection in Senoia, Georgia. The proposed project would also replace the traffic signal. The existing right-of-way for SR 16 is 100 feet. The existing right-of-way for SR 74/85 is approximately 80 feet.

The original proposed project would widen and reconstruct SR 34 beginning just east of SR 154 and ending at SR 74. This project has been surveyed numerous times by GDOT dating from the present back to 1993.

The proposed project consists of the widening of the intersection of SR 54 and SR 154 in the City of Sharpsburg, Coweta County, Georgia. SR 54 will be widened 12' to the east to provide left turn lanes in each direction. SR 154 will be widened 12' to provide right turns lanes in each direction.

The proposed project consists of the construction of 0.60 m (2 ft) paved shoulders along SR 154 in Coweta County. The project would begin at the intersection of SR 54 (MP 0.00) and would end at the intersection of SR 19 (MP 8.53).
