The proposed project will involve the aerial installation, of a fiber optic communication cable along SR 85. The project begins at Forest Parkway and ends at Point. South Parkway for a distance of approximately 11.3 km (7 mi). The cable is to be installed on existing Georgia Power poles.

The proposed project would involve the installation of route surveillance and monitoring devices at various locations in Clayton County. These are: South n St.; Jonesboro Rd.; SR 54; Old Dixie Rd.; Tara Blvd.; Upper Riverdale Rd.; Valley Hill Rd.; SR 85; Aviation Blvd.; Mt. Zion Blvd.; Mt..

The project is the proposed widening of the outside northbound lane on SR 3/US 19 & 41 due to substandard depth.

The proposed project would widen S.R. 3/Tara Blvd. by adding one 3.6 m. (12') lane on the outside northbound side. Project begins 320 m. (1050') south of Morrow Industrial Blvd., and continues along Old Dixie Highway to Upper Riverdale Road. Total project length is approximately 1.2 km.

The proposed project consists of the re-alignment of Forest Parkway/S.R. 331 at Germain Industrial Court. Project would begin approximately 268 m. (878') west of Germain Ind. Ct. and end approximately 464 m. (1521') east of the same, for a total project length of 0.7 km. (0.445 miles).

The proposed project consists of intersection improvements at S.R. 85, S.R. 138 and 1-75 on ramps. Additional right-of-way of 6 m. (20') would be required on the west side of S.R. 85 beginning at International Blvd. and extending approximately 120 m. (400') north, ending in a taper.

The proposed project consists of the widening of Valley Road at S.R. 85. Project begins at intersection with S.R. 85 and extends 487.7 m. (1600') east on Valley Hill Rd. Existing right-of-way varies from 30 m. (100') to 25.6 m.

Project FR-164-1(29) is the proposed widening and reconstruction of SR 54 from McDonough Road in Fayette County to US 19/41/SR 3 in Clayton County, including the replacement of existing bridges. Project BRF-164-1(18) consists of the construction of three parallel bridges.

The proposed project would consist of the leveling and resurfacing of a portion of SR 24 in Jenkins County. Also included in the proposed project would be the paving of 0.61 m (2 ft) shoulders along the entire roadway.
