Report Abstracts

In July of 2012, Resource Land Consultants of Savannah contracted with Brockington and Associates, Inc. to complete a Phase I cultural resources survey of the 196-acre Griffin Park Tract in Liberty County, Georgia.

Brockington and Associates, Inc. is working to identify historically significant cultural resources that may be impacted by the construction of a boat launching facility and floating dock in Payne Creek and a dock in the North Newport River, Liberty County, Georgia.

A cultural resources survey was conducted on July 2, 1982 on seven existing and one proposed wildlife openings in the Boggs Creek Section of the Chestatee Ranger District, Chattahoochee National forest, Lumpkin County, Georgia. A total of 5± acres was involved.

On May 7, 1976 a survey of the right-of-way for the proposed Sugar Creek Outfall Extension was completed in order to assess the impact of the project upon cultural resources, as required by federal legislation implemented by 36 C.F.R.
